I got Donovans Valentines pictures taken yesterday. It was awesome, the company, Our 365, even came out to the house and set up a whole little studio in my living room. It was awesome that I didn't have to go anywhere, especially since it was POURING down rain. The photographer let me see some of the pics, and from what I saw they turned out REALLY cute. I'm just sad I have to wait 2 weeks for them cause thats how long they take to do all their editing and such. So if anyone is interested in getting a free 8x10 and having them come out to your house let me know and I can refer you or give you the # to scheduel an appointment. Heres some pics I took before he got here on the new blankie my mom made for DJ, it matches the diaper bag she made me....

On another note I took Donovan to the Dr.s today cause his cold has now moved into his chest and at night he gets this horrible cough that wake him up constantly. When they weighed him I was suprised to see that my lil guy weighs a whopping 14lbs! That means he's gained 2lbs in less then a month. Geez! The boy is growing like a weed. No wonder why it seems like he's eating constantly, cause he is! He eats a lil bit at a time but it's constantly. Dr. said he's right where he should be though as far as weight and that as far as his cold goes I'm doing all we can do when they're this little. That made me feel good that I know that I've done all I can do but sad that theres nothing that can make him feel 100% better. At least he's still happy all the time though. I'm so lucky to have such a happy boy.
Now that I know he weighs 14lbs I have a little diaper dilema.... I have 3 packs of Huggies size 1 diapers I need to exchange cause I know that since I still have 2 more jumbo packs of Pampers size 1's he will not be able to use all the size 1's I have since they only go up to 14lbs. But I also have TONS of size 2 diapers saved up that I recieved at the baby shower. So now the question is, is do I exchange them for more size 2's or start to stock up on size 3's? Since he's growing so fast I'm just not sure what size he's going to need more of. At least I know I don't actually have to buy diapers for a long time, I just need to figure out the next size to stock up on. Decisions, decisions.....

I can't believe Donovan is 14 lbs. Noah, my 8 month old weighs 16 lbs, but he is small. If I were you I would buy size 4. They really aren't that much bigger than 3. They will last longer.
