Donovans Halloween pics

We took Donovan to Picture People today cause thy were having a Halloween costume contest and lots of other things for the kids to do. While we were there we decided to get his pictures taken in his Halloween costume. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Wow. I really didn't realize how long it's been since I've posted anything on here. Just since I've started school I haven't had much spare time. I promise I will update as soon as I get a chance. Heres a video in the meantime of Donovan laughing at his toy going down the slide. He's sooooo cute!

Sea World

We took Donovan and his cousin Alyssa to Sea World for the first time yesterday. Besides it being REALLY hot they both had a blast. I bought the season pass so now we can go back anytime we want.

I now have an independent sitter!

I've been working and working with Donovan on sitting on his own for longer than a few seconds. And yesterday he finally got it. He now sits on his own for a good few min before he topples over from reaching for something. He's getting so big soooooo fast.

Now I'm working on him with trying to stand while holding on to things. But we still have a way to go on that one. He'll get it soon enough though. Such a big boy!

Donovans 1st time swimming in our pool.

Our pool was finally warm enough for me to take Donovan in it so today we took he and Ryan for a swim. It was Donovans 1st time in the pool. He wasn't too sure at first but once he got used to it he was splashing away and loved it!.

6 month photos part 1

I took Donovan to a new place to get his 6 month pics taken. They did a good job for only 30.00 but I am still taking him to Picture People on sunday to try and get some where he doesn't look for pale. lol

He looks like he's flying.

We had an awesome time at the Del Mar Fair. It's always been a family tradition to go every year and I was REALLY excited to get to take Donovan to see everything and touch some animals. He had a good time and was such a good boy. He totally hammed up all the people looking at him and saying how cute he was. Such a flirt already. We are probably planning another trip back before its over.

My aunt gave me Aiden's high chair cause he's getting too big for his Bumbo seat. He's still a little to little to sit in it w/the try on though. When he leans forward his mouth is at the same height as the tray and he'll either chew on the tray or he hits his head on it. He looks like a lil big man in it.

This is him with out the tray on. Much better. He really likes it.And it's much easier for me while feeding him cause he can't bend his head back or to look at all the things around him that distract him.

I LOVE a naked baby!

After his bath I let Donovan play around naked for a lil bit and since he's rolling over I was finally able to get a pic of his naked lil butt that I just LOVE so much! lol. I love a cute lil baby butt and couldn't resist taking a pic.

Donovan just LOVES his baths. As soon as I put him in he starts kicking and splashing like crazy. He kicks and splashes so much that it makes his tub slide done in the big tub. I thinks it's funny cause he doesn't even realize he's moving. Here's a lil video I took with my phone showing how crazy he gets. LOL

Donovan is 6 months old!

Eating with a spoon take 3

I got the official OK from Donovans Dr to start giving him baby food. I had given him some rice cereal before but his tummy wasn't ready for it yet so here was our most recent try. He did alot better.

Mmmmm is hands tasted just as good as the rice cereal.

He was eating what had fallen on his bib and on his hands.

Mmmmmmm. I'm so glad to finally start being able to feed him baby food. I just LOVE a messy baby! lol

A Sunny Sunday

Today we had a bunch of family over from out of town. My Aunt, Cousins and a 2nd cousin that I had never met, as well as my brother, his girlfriend and their 3 kids. It was a very nice day outside and even better to spend it with family I rarely see.
